HATTIESBURG, Miss. - The Southern Miss Athletic Department and head football coach Todd Monken announced today the finalized plans for the 2013 Black and Gold Game.
The spring game will be held Saturday, April 20th at 1 p.m. at nearby Petal High School. The spring game's location was moved due to the recent tornado that struck Hattiesburg and damaged the field turf at Carlisle-Faulkner Field inside M.M. Roberts Stadium.
Fans attending the 2013 Black and Gold game will have the first opportunity to see Coach Monken's up tempo, exciting offensive system while being able to see a defense that returns nine starters that looks to carry on the Nasty Bunch tradition.
Tickets are only $5 for ages 12 and older and children 12 and under will receive free admission. Tickets can be purchased at the Black and Gold game as no advance tickets will be sold.
The Southern Miss football program will also be playing host to its second annual Future Golden Eagles Camp from 11:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. prior to the Black and Gold Spring game.
