Drisko joins the Southern Miss coaching staff as a graduate assistant with quarterbacks. He arrives from the University of Kentucky, where he served on the coaching staff for three seasons. He moved into a graduate assistant coaching role with quarterbacks in 2014 after serving as a graduate assistant manager in 2013. Before Kentucky, he worked as a student assistant coach at Texas Tech from 2010-13 under former UK offensive coordinator Neal Brown.
While at Tech, he also worked closely with UK assistant coaches Chad Scott and Tommy Mainord and was hands-on in helping the Red Raiders become one of the best offensive teams in the country. TTU ranked sixth nationally in passing in 2010, seventh in 2011 and second in 2012, and won two straight bowl games while Drisko was a part of the staff.
