Golden Eagles Roll Past Rice, 48-24

Southern Miss accumulated 654 total yards in the Golden Eagles' victory over the Owls.

2011 (r-So.): Saw action in all 14 games, primarily as a blocking back and on special teams ... Recorded his first career touchdown against UCF on a swing pass from the one-yard line ... Had two carries against Rice for 29 yards ... The final carry of 25 yards set a single-game school record for offensive output ... 2010 (r-Fr.): Played in seven games during the year in short yardage situations as the Golden Eagle fullback ... Did not register a carry ... 2009 (Fr.): Redshirted ... Prep: Played for coach Ricky Turner at Blessed Trinity High for coach ... Second on the team in rushing his senior campaign with 316 yards rushing on 52 carries and five touchdowns ... Had a long run of 41 yards and averaged 6.1 yards per carry ...
