Jeremy Wise Selected in Third Round of NBDL Draft

HATTIESBURG, Miss. - Former Southern Miss guard Jeremy Wise was selected in the third round of the 2009 NBADL Draft by the Los Angeles D-Fenders Thursday night.

The Jackson, Miss. native started all 96 games in his three-year career, finishing with 1,691 points, good for fifth-place on the all-time Southern Miss scoring list and 11th-place in Conference USA history. His 541 points as a freshman in 2006-07 are the most-ever scored by a freshman at Southern Miss.

The three-time All-Conference USA player is scattered throughout the Southern Miss record book. In addition to career points, he is second with 511 made free throws and free throw percentage (.823), fifth in three-pointers made with 120, and sixth with 17.6 points per game and 381 assists.
