Southern Miss Men's Hoops to Make Eight Television Appearances
Golden Eagles will make two national television appearances.

HATTIESBURG, Miss. - The Southern Miss men's basketball team will make at least eight appearances during the 2012-13 season, according to an announcement by the Conference USA office.
Southern Miss opens its television slate on Nov. 15 with its Legends Classic opener at Georgia, which will air on FoxSportsNet (7 p.m.). The Golden Eagles will also make an appearance on the Pac-12 Network when it faces Arizona (8:30 p.m.) on Dec. 4.
Six Conference USA games will air on television, with all six taking place against Memphis, Marshall and UAB. Southern Miss' Jan. 19 contest at home against UAB (5 p.m.) as well as its road contest against the Blazers on Feb. 2 (7 p.m.) will both air on CSS.
Southern Miss will host Marshall on Jan. 23 on CSS (6 p.m.) facing the Thundering Herd on Mar. 5 in a nationally-televised contest on CBS Sports Network (6 p.m.). The Golden Eagles will also play on CBS Sports Network when they host Memphis on Feb. 9 (3 p.m.). Southern Miss will then play the Tigers at FedExForum on Feb. 23 on FoxSportsNet (12 p.m.).
Any additional television contests will be announced at a later date. Southern Miss opens the 2012-13 slate with an exhibition game on Nov. 1 against St. Catharine's. The regular season begins Nov. 10 when the Golden Eagles host Western Kentucky.
