NASSAU, Bahamas - Southern Miss placed five players in double-figures, defeating the Bahamas All-Stars, 81-73, in Game Two of the Bahamas Trip. The Golden Eagles are now 2-0 on the trip.

For the second straight game, Daveon Boardingham scored 17 points. Aaron Brown recorded a double-double, scoring 14 points and grabbing 11 rebounds. Davon Hayes also scored 14 points.

Norville Carey had 12 points and seven rebounds and Chip Armelin added 11 points and five boards.

"I thought we showed some signs of improvement," said head coach Donnie Tyndall. We did a better job of taking care of the ball, though we're still not where we need to be. But we made some strides. We did a pretty good job on the glass as we were a plus-18. So I think our team made progress from yesterday and I'm pleased with that.

Neil Watson had a great game, dishing the ball out to the tune of 11 assists while scoring five points. Michael Craig added seven rebounds while recording five assists. Jamie Chapman chipped in with five points.

Southern Miss takes the day off tomorrow. They return to the court on Friday against the New Providence All-Stars at 6 p.m.
