Q: When, where, and who are we playing in the Second Round?
A: The Golden Eagles will host fifth-seed Louisiana Tech (27-6), the Western Athletic Conference regular season champion, this Monday, March 25 at 9:00pm CT. The game will be played at Reed Green Coliseum. Additionally, Louisiana Tech is set to join Conference USA as a full member in the 2013-14 Athletic calendar year.
Q: How much are tickets?
A: Tickets are $20 for courtside and floor seats, $15 for chair backs, $10 for adult bleachers, and $5 for youth bleacher seats. Tickets for the game can be purchased here or by calling 1-800-844-TICK (8425) as well as visiting the Pat Ferlise Center this Friday from 8 a.m. until 5 p.m., and then on Monday from 8 a.m., until 6 p.m. The ticket office will then move to Reed Green Coliseum for ticket purchases.
Q: Do Students have to pay for tickets?
A: Incoming University of Southern Mississippi President Rodney Bennett has secured funding for the purchase of 1,000 student tickets. The first 1,000 students will receive free admission to the game when they presenet their valid student ID. Students may begin lining up at 7:30pm for the tickets at the West Entrance. The doors are scheduled to open at 8:00pm, one hour prior to tip-off. After the first 1,000 students , student tickets will be available for $5.
Q: What about parking for the game?
A: NIT basketball parking will remain the same as the regular season parking. If you have a basketball parking pass, it is valid for all home NIT games.
Q: Will the game be broadcast on TV?
A: Yes - the game will be broadcast live on ESPNU.
