HATTIESBURG, Miss. - The Southern Miss Department of Athletics plans to hold a WHITEOUT Night for its men's basketball game against Memphis, Saturday, Feb. 9, at Reed Green Coliseum.
The athletics department urges all fans to wear white for its C-USA contest against the Tigers and plan to give away 6,500 Southern Miss Basketball WHITEOUT t-shirts at the game, courtesy of Comcast brought to you by Xfinity, IMG College, the Southern Miss Student Eagle Club and Elite Screenprinting.
"We all understand that the Memphis game is very important to our fans," said Southern Miss head coach Donnie Tyndall. "We hope that the City of Hattiesburg and the campus community will come out and support our team in what is a very big game."
Tickets are still available for the contest by going online at SouthernMissTickets.com, by calling 1-800-844-TICK (8425) or by visiting the Pat Ferlise Ticket Office weekdays from 8 a.m., until 5 p.m.
Tipoff is 3 p.m., and will also be televised nationally by CBS College Sports.
