Southern Miss Receiving Votes in Coaches Poll

HATTIESBURG, Miss. - After its 62-59 victory at Tulsa to push its winning streak to nine games, the Southern Miss men's basketball team received votes in ESPN/USA Today Coaches Polls, released this afternoon.

This marks the third straight year that Southern Miss has received votes in either Associated Press or Coaches' polls.

The Golden Eagles are 17-4 overall and on top of the Conference USA standings at 6-0. They will be off on Wednesday before playing the second of three straight road games this Saturday, February 2, at UAB. Tip-off is scheduled for 7 p.m. CT and will be televised by CSS.
