Basketball radio shows return tonight from Georgia Blue
HATTIESBURG, Miss. -- The Golden Eagle Hotline with Doc Sadler and Lady Eagle Fastbreak with Joye Lee-McNelis are back in action Monday night from Georgia Blue (4404 Hardy St. in Hattiesburg). The location of the show has been moved indoors to the main restaurant.
Lady Eagle Fastbreak opens the night of Southern Miss basketball with an hour-long program from 6-7 p.m., hosted by Josh West. The Golden Eagle Hotline then follows from 7-8 p.m., hosted by the Voice of the Golden Eagles, John Cox.
Both programs will feature news and notes surrounding both programs each week as well as reviewing recent games and previewing the upcoming contests. In addition, special guests will visit at times during the year.
The programs will engage fans through social media outlets as questions can be asked through Twitter (@USMGoldenEagles), Facebook (Southern Miss Athletics) and via email (SouthernMissAthletics@gmail.com). Questions can also be submitted for those in attendance at Georgia Blue.
The Lady Eagle Fastbreak with Joye Lee-McNelis can be heard on AM 1400 The Score locally, while the Golden Eagle Hotline with Doc Sadler can be heard on Rock 104, 104.5 FM, in the Hattiesburg/Laurel area, each Monday night through the football regular season, as well as other Southern Miss IMG Sports affiliates throughout the state and Gulf Coast region. The show continue each week throughout the remainder of the season. There will also be a March 5 edition for whichever teams make the C-USA Tournament.
Additionally, Southern Miss Sports Today with Doc Sadler premiers Tuesday at 6 p.m. on WDAM-ABC, with the episode airing on Southern Miss Athletics' official YouTube channel.
