Recorded his first career double-double, scoring 14 points and grabbing 13 rebounds against Blue Mountain (11/29) ... Scored ten points and pulled down a team-high seven rebounds against McNeese State (12/23).

Prep: Spent the last two years at Genesis One Christian School in Mendenhall, Miss., averaging 19 points and nine rebounds this past winter as his team reached the final game of the National Association of Christian Athletes national tournament in Dayton, Tenn. ... Prior to his stint at Genesis One, Cooks averaged 16.1 points, 9.4 rebounds and 1.2 blocks for Thibodaux High School as they reached the 2005 Class 5A state title game in the Top 28 tournament ...
