Breast Cancer Awareness World Series Starts Wednesday at The Pete
The Golden Eagles will play a three-game set.
HATTIESBURG, Miss. -
The Southern Miss baseball team will hold its 6th annual Breast Cancer Awareness Fall World Series, a three-game set, from Wednesday, Oct. 25, through Wednesday, Nov. 1 at Pete Taylor Park/Hill Denson Field. Admission is free to all three games, but donations will be accepted for breast cancer awareness.
The series opens with a 5:30 p.m., contest on Wednesday, Oct. 25, and finishes, Wednesday, Nov. 1, at 5:30 p.m. The middle game of the set takes place Saturday, Oct. 28, at 10 a.m.
The completion of the series will conclude fall practice for the Golden Eagle squad. The 2018 season begins Friday, Feb. 16, when the Golden Eagles play host to in-state rival Mississippi State at 4 p.m.
Fans are also reminded about Trick or Treat at The Pete this Thursday, Oct. 26, from 5:30-7 p.m., for a free family-friendly event that features fun and games for everyone with the Golden Eagle baseball and softball teams.
