"Both teams hit the ball well tonight, but the key was that there was a zero in the errors column for us," Head Coach Corky Palmer said. "They had a tough night defensively, though they hit the ball harder than we did, but we made plays. (Brad) Owen and (Patrick) Ezell pitched well in the middle, which is what we've been needing. Overall, we were a better club tonight than what we showed last weekend. We played hard and smart, and I didn't catch us in any mental errors tonight, which is the first time that's happened in five games."
