HATTIESBURG, Miss. - Expected bad weather for the Pine Belt area has forced the Southern Miss baseball game versus Conference USA foe Rice to be moved up three hours to 11 a.m., Saturday at Pete Taylor Park/Hill Denson Field.
All the festivities surrounding the "Pack The Pete in Pink" for the game will still take place as scheduled.
The game was originally scheduled for 2 p.m., but expected afternoon showers were the cause of the move.
The final game of the series will take place as scheduled on Sunday at 1 p.m.
