HATTIESBURG, Miss. - The Southern Miss baseball team will wear commemorative green jerseys for St. Patrick's Day this Saturday against Murray State at Pete Taylor Park/Hill Denson Field. Game time is set for 1 p.m.

The time of the game has been moved up an hour to accommodate the annual Irish-Italian Festival that is set to take place later in the day at St. Thomas Catholic Church. Father Tommy Conway, Pastor of St. Thomas, is slated to throw out the ceremonial first pitch prior to the contest.

Golden Eagle fans are encouraged to wear green in honor of St. Patrick's Day.

A select number of the commemorative green jerseys will be available for auction next Monday, March 19, on SouthernMiss.com.
