Southern Miss 2013 Baseball Television Schedule Announced

HATTIESBURG, Miss. - A pair of Southern Miss contests are part of the 2013 Conference USA Baseball television schedule which was released by the league office Thursday afternoon.

Both of Southern Miss' televised games take place during the month of April with the first one slated for Wed., Apr. 3, against LSU at Zephyr Field in Metairie, La., as part of the Wally Pontiff Jr. Classic. Cox Sports Television is set to air the game, mostly in the state of Louisiana, with the game time set for 7 p.m.

The second appearance for the Golden Eagles is, Sat., Apr. 27, in a C-USA home contest against UAB which will be shown by Fox Sports Net. The game time at Pete Taylor Park/Hill Denson Field has been moved to 6:30 p.m., from its original 2 p.m., start to accommodate the broadcast.

The league also announced that the C-USA Tournament championship game from Reckling Park in Houston on Sun., May 26, will be shown as well beginning at 1 p.m., on the CBS Sports Network.
