  • Played in 49 games, 42 as a starter
  • Played mostly as a right fielder but also saw time at first base

  • Hit .313 with a team high 15 doubles,
  • Also had eight home runs, one triple and 41 RBI
  • Drew a team high 33 walks
  • Hit .324 in C-USA games including eight doubles, four home runs and 17 RBI

At Westbrook High School

  • Four year started for coach Kevin McDonald
  • Two-time all-state selection by the Texas high school coaches association
  • Three-time all-region and four time all-district selection
  • As a senior he hit .390 with 13 doubles, three triples, five home runs and 29 RBI
  • Helped lead his team to a 27-6 record and a appearance in the third round of the 5A state championships
  • Hit .358 with nine doubles, two triples, four home runs and 22 RBI as a junior
