• Preseason All-American (NCBWA - 3rd team)
• NCBWA Stopper of the Year Watch List
• First team All C-USA at relief pitcher
• Went 4-2 with a 1.75 ERA and 36 strikeouts in 46 1/3 innings
• Hurled at least one inning in all but one outing
• Threw longest outing of his career of 7 2/3 versus Jacksonville State (6/5) and fanned nine while allowing just one run
• Did not allow a run over his first five appearances spanning 6 2/3 innings

• In the NCAA Atlanta Regional, he had a win and two saves in the team's three victories. He was the winner vs. No. 22 Elon (May 29) and had two saves against No. 14 Georgia Tech (5/30 & 6/1)
• Saved both victories over No. 9 Florida (June 6 &7) in Gainesville Super Regional
• In 19 appearances (totaling 27 innings he did not allow an earned run)
• Did not allow an earned run in his first six outings, spanning 9.1 innings
• Did not allow an extra base hit in his first 12 appearances of the season (16.2 innings)

2008 (Redshirt Freshman)
• Appeared in 23 games, working 26 innings
• Made first career appearance in the opening weekend vs. Lipscomb (Feb. 24) and earned the win
• Made his only career start at South Alabama on May 13
• Allowed seven extra base hits (five doubles and two HR) all season
• Struck out a career high five batters in 2.1 innings of work at UNO (March 12th)
• Worked a career high 4.2 innings to pick up a win at Marshall on May 3
