Head Coach Jon Stuart
“We had inspired performances all day. Once the momentum builds and the crowd started yelling “to the top”, I knew it was going to be a special day. Our kids simply have a lot of heart and were not going to miss out on that podium.”
Assistant Coach (Jumps/Hurdles) John Ellis
“This team is very special. We set a goal for ourselves and stayed focused even when some things didn’t go our way. I’m unbelievably proud of all event areas and our staff. John Warren setting a new C-USA Indoor record in the triple jump was such an incredible thing to be a part of.”
Assistant Coach (Distance/Mid-Distance) Aaron Kindt
“Kate and Courtney were tremendous today. Courtney ran the second fastest she’s even ran indoors and that’s pretty cool to see her season come together like that. Patton in the one mile, put up points on the men’s distance side for the first time in almost 10 years. It was a great way to end the meet on the distance side.”
Assistant Coach (Throws) Jennifer Svoboda
“The throwers had a solid weekend of performances. My seniors really stepped up in a big way, and Nadia competed well and pulled off a clutch throw in round five to secure the gold. We are excited about carrying over our momentum into the outdoor season.”
