Assistant Coach

Suesanna Williams completed her first season as an assistant coach with the Southern Miss track and field program. Her duties include assisting in all areas of recruiting, equipment and working primarily with the throwers as well as day-to-day operations.

Prior to joining the coaching staff, Williams was a standout athlete with the Golden Eagles. She was a four-year letterwinner in indoor and outdoor track and field. She is the current record holder in the indoor shot put and weight throw and the outdoor hammer.

Williams earned All-Conference USA honors in the indoor weight throw and outdoor hammer. She also was a regional qualifier in the hammer. The Kingston, Jamaica native attended St. Hugh's High School where she competed in the 100 and 200 meters and the javelin. She earned her bachelor's degree in 2009 in coaching and sport administration. She is the daughter of Avril and Neville McIntosh.
