A first team All-State athlete for Coach Michael Bardgett at Melissa High School ... Rebecca had an outstanding year as she led her team to runner up finish at the 2A UIL Regional Championships(Placing 1st) as well as a 2nd place team finish at the 2A UIL State Championships (Placing 2nd) ... Individually Rebecca highlighted 2011 senior cross country season with a stellar victory at the OSU Jamboree covering the course in a time of 11:03.
