St. Cloud's University
David Queck enters his second season with the Golden Eagle track and field program as a volunteer coach in aiding with the sprints.
Prior to coming to Southern Miss, Queck was a two-sport standout at St. Cloud University in Minnesota where he lettered two years in football as a wide receiver and four in track and field, competing in the 100-, 200-, and 400 meter sprints. While at St. Cloud, he also was part of the 4x100-meter relay team that won the conference championship. Queck also earned all-conference honors three times.
Queck was a standout prep player at Annandale where he earned letters in football, basketball and track. While there, he earned all-conference honors as well as all-area accolades. In track and field, Queck helped his team win three state championships.
The Annandale, Minn., native received his bachelor's degree in broadcast journalism with a coaching minor in 2010. He is currently working on his master's in sport coaching at Southern Miss. He is the son of Rev. Tom and Kathy Queck.
