What made you choose Southern Miss?
"Definitely the tradition of Southern Miss. Driving up here and going through the Eagle Walk and see names like Brett Favre and Ray Guy just got me excited. I felt like this was my home."
What is your major and why did you choose that?
"Human Resource Management. I wasn't sure what my major was going to be, so I was talking to my Dad about it and he said that I do well with people so I should go with that. I am a people person."
Where do you see yourself in 5 to 10 years?
"Somewhere working in a HR department, the military, or as a coach. My Dad is in the Air Force and with my major, you can move up in ranks pretty quickly. My step dad is a coach, so that has always interested me. Either one of these three I would be fine with."
Your thoughts on the new coaching staff?
"Just awesome. I really like my position coach and Coach Monken has definitely brought an energy that Southern Miss football needed."
If we were to ask your teammates how do you think they would describe you?
"I'm one who gets along with everyone. They would probably refer to me as the crazy long snapper."
Tell us something that an average Golden Eagle fan would not know about you?
"I was going to go to UAB as a offensive lineman, but chose to come to USM as a long snapper. I dropped 40 pounds after my commitment to USM and got ready to contribute as a Golden Eagle."
Describe this team in one sentence...
"Compelled to get USM back to The Top."
What has been your favorite moment so far as a Golden Eagle?
"The trip to Houston in 2011 for the Conference Championship. I was only a backup, but the trip itself was awesome and getting to experience a championship was something I will never forget."
