The Southern Miss Cheerleading progra.m. will have tryouts in the spring semester of 2012. The tryouts will be for our Co-Ed, and All-Girl.
2012 - 2013 Tryouts
- Saturday, April 21 - Planet Gymnastics
- Registration will begin at 8:30 a.m.; a schedule of tryouts will be given at registration
- Southern Miss Cheerleading Tryouts will begin at 9:00 a.m.
- Cuts will be posted at the end of Saturday tryouts.
- Open tryouts will begin Sunday, April 22 at 2:00 p.m. - Reed Green Coliseum
The Southern Miss Cheerleading Program has an open tryout policy. Parents, family, and friends are encouraged and allowed to come to the Southern Miss Cheerleading tryouts to support the participants. Southern Miss Cheerleading has professional judges come judge tryouts on the second day. The Spirit Squad Coordinator will make the final decisions for the 2011- 2012 Southern Miss Cheerleading squads. The participants will be judged on the listed requirements, teamwork skills, attitude, and personal appearance during the try-out process. The open tryout will be Sunday, April 22 in the Reed Green Coliseum at 2:00 p.m.
Requirements for Tryouts
- Register by mail or day of tryouts
- Tryout Application
- Proof of Insurance (copy front and back)
- $35.00 application fee
- Recent picture (prefer in cheer uniform)
