Lynne Firmin joined the Southern Miss family in Fall 2016 after four years with the New Orleans Pelicans.
Firmin's most recent position with the NBA franchise was as a group service manager, overseeing successful reservation process, event execution, and fulfillment of benefits to over 1000 group clients. Prior to that 11-month position, she spent two years as a group sales and service coordinator, managing a team of three seasonal Group Service Associates while overseeing the execution of the group outings of over 800 group sales clients. Her first role with the Pelicans came was a one-year stint as a group service advocate (2012-13), where she Performed client touch-point process on behalf of Account Executives, while answering any service requests and maintaining payment deadlines and ticket orders for groups. Her accomplishments include the renewal of 26 accounts for $2,158 in revenue during the 2013-14 renewal campaign, bringing in $44,169 in revenue to the organization during the 2012-13 season and coordinating group events for schools, churches, businesses, and other groups in the community.
Firmin also held a position as a manager for fan experience at Super Bowl XLVII. She is a 2012 graduate of Tulane.
