Christi Holloway serves as the Chief Financial Officer for the USM Athletic Department and has done so since January 2012.
Prior to serving the department directly, Holloway has overseen the USM Athletic Foundation since 2001, a responsbility she still holds.
In this capacity, Holloway is responsible for determining the fiscal requirements, developing and monitoring the annual budget and maintaining all athletic financial records. Holloway prepares and analyzes all financial statements; reporting progress, adverse trends and appropriate recommendations and conclusions to the VP of Financial Affairs and reporting to the Athletic Foundation Board of Directors. She serves as the department's liaison to the University's audit, budget, and financial administration offices.
Prior to Southern Miss, Holloway was the Assistant Controller for Georgia Gulf Chemical for two years and a Controller for J&R Restaurant Group from 1997 to 1999). From 1991 to 1997, she served as a CPA with a focus on Public Accounting.
Holloway is a two-time alumnus of The University of Southern Mississippi, earning her bachelor's in Accounting in 1991 and her MBA in 2005. She is also a licensed Certified Public Accountant.
