HATTIESBURG, Miss. - Just in time for Thanksgiving, Southern Miss fans, faculty, staff and students can help the Golden Eagles best their fellow Conference USA programs by contributing to the annual "Let's SAAC Hunger" food drive.
The Southern Miss Student Athlete Advisory Committee, along with the Center for Civic and Community Engagement organized this year's effort, which began Sunday and concludes this Saturday.
The "Let's SAAC Hunger" Food Drive is part of an annual Conference USA competition among member institutions with the winner determined by the weight of the canned goods donated. The top program will be recognized in the spring by conference officials.
