How long have you been a supporter of the Eagle Club?
In my family, I have been an Eagle Club supporter for my entire life.
Where are you currently located?
I live in Hattiesburg. I am a senior at Southern Miss.
What is your earliest memory of Southern Miss Athletics?
Rattling spoons in support of Clarence Weatherspoon in Section L, Row 4 of Reed Green Coliseum.
Why do you support the Eagle Club and Southern Miss Athletics?
Growing up in Hattiesburg, the Black and Gold runs deep in my family, going back to relatives playing for Southern Miss, graduating and working for Southern Miss.
You have season tickets to what sports?
My family is season ticket holders for football, basketball, baseball
Were you a USM athlete? If so, how did the experience affect your life?
No, unfortunately the backyard dreams did not come true.
What is your favorite Southern Miss Athletics tradition?
Tailgating and the Eagle Walk. There is absolutely nothing better than getting ready for game day at The Rock.
Who is your favorite Southern Miss coach or athlete, past or present?
Brett Favre. He is the man. Enough said.
What are three must-have items for your own personal tailgate?
Good music, great food, and your best friends.
What is the best type of food to have at a tailgate?
Sausage dogs topped with grilled onions and bell peppers.
Why should more Southern Miss fans and supporters join the Eagle Club?
Because the Eagle Club provides opportunities for student-athletes to not only get an education, but to compete at the highest level in college sports.
From all of USM's athletic success, what is your favorite memory of all-time?
I have two. The first is the Mobile Bowl in 2000 - a slant route over the middle - to beat TCU, 28-21. The second is, of course, the 2003 TCU game where we rushed the field and took down the goal posts.
What is your favorite part about the game-day environment for any USM sports team?
My favorite part about game day is seeing everybody dressed in their Black and Gold catching the Eagle Fever. Nothing excites me more than seeing people in Black and Gold.
What is your favorite place on the campus of Southern Miss?
My favorite place on campus would have to be The Rock.
What do you miss about Southern Miss?
I'm a student so there is not much to miss.
What piece of Southern Miss apparel can you not live without on game-day?
My lucky game day hat.
How were you introduced to Southern Miss and USM Athletics?
My mom and dad graduated from Southern Miss and I was raised as a Golden Eagle.
Tell us what Southern Miss Athletics means to you.
Southern Miss Athletics means the world to me. I couldn't think of any other place I would rather be on game day than The Rock, The Greenhouse or The Pete.
What is your favorite Southern Miss cheer?
S-OU-TH-ERN, Southern Mississippi. U-S-M!
What is your pregame ritual?
Having a rib-eye sandwich from the End Zone is a must the day before game day.
Define Golden Eagle Pride?
Golden Eagle Pride is standing up for your school, no matter the circumstances.
What makes you the most passionate Golden Eagle Fan?
What makes me a passionate Eagle Fan is that I will be at the game and support Southern Miss through the good times and the bad times. Despite records or the opponent we play, the reason I am there is to watch Southern Miss. SMTTT!
