Her duties will include the day-to-day media relations operations for women's soccer, softball and men's and women's tennis, while assisting with football, basketball and other various duties with the media relations unit.
Haynes, a 2006 graduate of Southern Miss with a bachelor's degree in sport administration, is currently working on her master's degree in public relations, which she will complete in August 2007.
As a student at Southern Miss, she was a member of the inaugural class of the Luckyday Foundation Scholarship (2002), as well as a member of Delta Delta Delta Sorority, where she served as President during the 2005-06 academic year.
