"I am very excited for our student-athletes who have been selected for this forum," said academic counselor Lauren Hillman. "I think this will be a great opportunity for them to network with professionals, as well as student-athletes from many other institutions while broadening their horizons within the sports industry. Each of our student-athletes is unique and blessed with talent and creativity, and I am excited to see how this forum will help foster those characteristics and develop valuable tools they will be able to use once they enter their profession. They are each phenomenal representatives for Southern Miss."
Additionally, the forum will dispel myths about careers in athletics, as well as, facilitate the opportunity to obtain information from current and future athletics professionals.
